Join our dedicated Aspire People team and help shape the future of our students!Position: Teaching Assistant (SEMH/SeND)Location: LincolnType: Full-Time, long-term becoming permanent for the right candidateStart Date: September 2024Salary: 86-92£ /dayWorking hours: 8.30-16.00 term time only About Us:Aspire People is working with a dynamic and supportive Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SeND) school that caters to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.Key Responsibilities:* Support students with SEMH and other special educational needs in their learning and development.* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or mental health disorders.* Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.* Support students in developing social skills and coping strategies.* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).Requirements:* Experience: Previous experience in a similar setting, such as a SeND school, care home working with severe ASD patients, or working with individuals with mental health disorders.
