SEN Teacher – Lincoln
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

GSL Education is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Lincoln. This role involves supporting children with Autism (ASC), Moderate to Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD, PMLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet students’ individual needs.

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and SEN professionals.

  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.

  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS (SEN experience desirable but not essential).

  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a specialist or mainstream setting.

  • Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

  • Strong behaviour management skills.

  • A DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply.
