Then look no further…Procurement Specialist - Development, Plant & VehiclesHours - 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 am to 17:00 pmLocation Postcode - NationwideAs a Procurement Specialist, you will assist the Procurement Manager in the development and implementation of procurement policy and procedures.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- Life insurance- Discretionary bonus scheme- On the job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and many more.- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing Platform.What will you be doing?- Managing the procurement of a variety of plant and vehicle requirements- Supporting new bid development, encompassing the evaluation of pricing matrices and recommendations for optimal solutions- Supporting mobilisation projects for new contracts, covering typical areas such as vehicles, plant, containers, bins, PPE, and signage- Collaborating with Operations teams to offer guidance and support for the procurement of new or replacement plant and vehicles- Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of relevant technological developments and industry best practice- Identifying opportunities to effect common purchasing, secure synergies and create value through procurement initiatives- Assisting in the identification of suitable suppliers- Reviewing quotations and negotiating prices with key suppliers- Providing advice on suitable contracts for the procurement of key projects and assisting in technical review of projects ensuring feasibility and cost effectiveness- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to implement group-wide contracts (where of benefit to business)- Reviewing current contracts / agreements to identify opportunities to improve effectivenessWhat we’re looking for -Experience in a similar role About UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the nation’s leading waste and resource management companies.
