We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join our educational team in rural Lincolnshire. Day-to-day of the role:- Design and deliver an engaging curriculum tailored to students with SEMH needs, ensuring that teaching methods are adapted to meet diverse learning requirements.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive both academically and personally.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, counselors, and other educational professionals to provide holistic support to students.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting educational plans to suit individual needs and goals.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest educational practices and theories in SEMH.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, ideally with a background in a relevant educational field.
- Experience in teaching and supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of the strategies required for effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and fostering positive relationships with students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of SEMH education.
