We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join our educational team in rural Lincolnshire. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Design and deliver an engaging curriculum tailored to students with SEMH needs, ensuring that teaching methods are adapted to meet diverse learning requirements.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive both academically and personally.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, counselors, and other educational professionals to provide holistic support to students.
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting educational plans to suit individual needs and goals.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest educational practices and theories in SEMH.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, ideally with a background in a relevant educational field.
  • Experience in teaching and supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of the strategies required for effective classroom management and student engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and fostering positive relationships with students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of SEMH education.
