Job Title: Welder

Location: Lincoln

Contract Details: 6 Months Temp to Perm

Salary: £15 - £18 per hour

Working Pattern: Full Time

Shifts:

Early shift 6am - 2.15pm 11.5% on top of hourly rate

Late - 2pm - 10.15pm 17.5% on top of hourly rate

O/T time and a quarter 125% Mon-Thurs

Fri - Sun time and half 150%

Responsibilities:

  • Weld various Turbine products following work instructions and company standards
  • Utilise Plasma, TIG, and MIG Welding techniques to produce high-quality output
  • Interpret engineering drawings and welding layouts accurately
  • Inspect production output using welding inspection techniques to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain and update digital production applications
  • Regularly inspect welding equipment and tooling for mechanical and safety issues
  • Be flexible with the working schedule to meet production demands

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Welding Inspection CSWIP 3.0 with development to 3.1
  • Experience in Plasma, TIG, and MIG Welding
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to work and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Pride in maintaining a clean and organised work area

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Any additional welding certifications or training
  • Previous experience in the Turbine industry
