Our client is committed to ensuring their financial processes run smoothly and are looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis.The RoleAs an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all the business’s accounts and transactions are processed and reconciled accurately and in a timely manner. This onsite position requires you to work roughly 24 hours per work, with fully flexibility on how the hours are worked - making it a perfect role to those needing to accommodate personal and childcare commitments!Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process and reconcile all accounts and transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
  • Utilise Excel to manage and analyse financial data effectively
Desirable Skills
  • Competence in Excel and other financial software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Local residency in West Kent/East Sussex, as this is an onsite position
