Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organised environment for our clients. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage various cleaning tasks efficiently. Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential.Duties• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.• Ensure all areas of the property are kept clean and tidy, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces.• Some shifts you will be serving meals to the residents in the main dining areas and in the resident's rooms on the Care Wing.• Assist with organisation of household items and ensure proper storage practices are followed.• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all duties.Qualifications• Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition when interacting with clients.• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.• A proactive approach towards maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the home environment.
Shift Times
Monday to Friday, with a variety of earlies and lates with an expectation of every other weekend if required.
