Manufacturing Operative

Location: Bindley Heath, Lingfield, Surrey

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Our client is an established company who manufacture and supply glass balustrade and Juliets.

They are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their great Manufacturing team. Working from the Blindley Heath site, you will assist in the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Experience is not required as full and continuous training will be given.

The Role

  • Operate machinery and equipment to cut, assemble, and pack aluminium profile
  • Pick, clean and pack glass panels
  • Pick and pack product accessories to complete order
  • Assist with dispatching orders
  • Use of powered vehicles, e.g. forklift
  • Assist with maintaining stock levels
  • Follow processes accordingly
  • Comply with Health and Safety

Skills and Qualifications

  • Evidence of a sound level of general education including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Willingness to participate in further training and development opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Physical fitness - physical role with heavy lifting
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Understand measurements and ability to use basic hand tools
