Reed HR have partnered with an established charity who are seeking an HR Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the HR team, focusing primarily on employee relations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to make a meaningful difference in the charity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on a wide range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support managers in handling complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Conduct investigations and prepare reports on employee relations matters.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops on HR-related topics.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to drive initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

About You:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with a genuine passion for supporting others.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
