IBP Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant, Fleet and Logistics Adminsitrator for our fast growing client. This is a key role within the Plant, Fleet & Logistics Department, and you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation within your specific region. Using information provided by the team, you will plan and manage the teams workload ensuring efficient and effective use of the time available, this role is based in East Grinstead.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and report on compliance within the region.
  • Plan, prepare, control available resource to the correct department
  • Plan new driver inductions, equipment, and vehicle issue
  • Engage with Logistics team to support administration & e-mail traffic
  • Control all vehicle issues & returns, recording all data within Fleet Management System.
  • Manage all vehicle defects, minimize VOR Downtime and ensure reporting system is updated.
  • Ensuring all Assets & Vehicles are kept in a safe and legal condition to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Monitor performance in line with company procedures, policies, and rules, and to challenge any non-conformity where necessary.
  • Ensure that our assets and equipment are maintained and tracked across the business, conducting safety inspections and auditing equipment.
  • Liaise with other Regions, Departments and company functions and encourage a One Team approach.
  • Take on new assignments when required.

The Ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong IT Skills within Microsoft
  • Experience in a Fleet Background
  • Proactive with priority of workload
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Self-motivated and thrives in busy working environment
  • Able to work unsupervised when required
