Our client, a leading specialist school and college in rural Surrey, is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis, making a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable young people.

This organization is committed to providing tailored support for students with complex learning disabilities, social communication challenges, and behavioural needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the team, fostering growth and development in an educational setting.

Role Details:

  • Hours: 9 am - 4 pm, with options for both full-time and part-time schedules
  • Pay: 13.96 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Location: Lingfield, Surrey

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with special educational needs in the classroom, supporting their engagement in lessons and tasks according to individualized learning plans.

  • Track and document each student's progress, providing valuable insights to teachers, parents, and professionals.
  • Support students' personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

What We're Looking For:

  • A kind, patient, and resilient individual with a genuine commitment to helping children and young people with special needs.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or educational setting, ideally with children or young adults requiring additional support.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car (due to the rural location).
