We are seeking a trainee to help us with our busy, expanding Smart Repair service.  Would you like to work for an established, well respected local company and become part of a friendly, growing team?  Would you enjoy looking after customers and working on prestige cars such as Bentleys, Aston Martins and Lamborghinis to name a few?  Do you enjoy working outdoors and enjoy the challenge of no two days being the same?This is a Trainee Sprayer role, with full training provided.  The successful candidate will have a full clean driving license and be very practically minded. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be dealing with customers on a daily basis.  Previous experience in a body shop or car trade would be an advantage, as would a love of cars. Objective: Accurately and skillfully undertake the repair of motor vehicles Trainee Vehicle Paint Sprayer - Key Tasks: 
  • Preparing all vehicles ready for repair and painting.
  • Machine polishing
  • Preparing alloys/bumpers/wing mirrorsMixing paint
  • Support the paint technician in all aspects of repair
  • Manage stock for paint technician and place stock orders
  • Minimise wastage of all materials, oils and fluidsUndertake all other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Paint Technician
  • Keep work area and equipment clean, tidy and free from hazards.
