Management Accountant | Linton
I'm excited to be working with a fantastic food business with a global presence and our client is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their team in Linton. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the site achieves its objectives through providing financial insights and ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial results and forecasts.
- Financial Support: Provide expert guidance to the Linton Team and collaborate with the Site Financial Controller and Director.
- Costing & Pricing Analysis: Support the Commercial and NPD teams in product costing and pricing.
- Stock Reporting & Reconciliations: Oversee stock reporting and period-end reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Data Management: Populate and manage data in our reporting system, and handle month-end journal postings.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Own the weekly forecast process and support site budgeting efforts.
- Capex Management: Identify capex projects and manage the fixed asset register.
- Customer Service & Communication: Build strong relationships across the business, providing excellent customer service and clear communication.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of excellence, seeking opportunities for health and safety improvements, technical enhancements, cost reductions, and margin enhancements.
Required
- Over 2 years of experience in Management Accounts Preparation.
- Part-qualified Management Accountant aiming to qualify in the near future.
- An eye for detail and a keen analytical mind.
- Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of SAP.
