Environmental Modeller Competitive DOE

Liphook, Dundee or Cardiff (Hybrid Working)

Our client has over 30 years working that the forefront of the Marine sector, with household names as well as the emerging sector clients in areas such as offshore wind and marine tidal, (floating and fixed) marine cables, coastal processes, ports and harbours, Oil and Gas and Energy Transition and all aspects of consenting (EIA, SEA, HRA, etc).

Due to continued success, they are looking to add an Environmental Modeller with experience in river, Coastal and marine modelling

The role

You'll be expected to;

  • Have experience using predictive models, advanced data analysis and management tools.
  • Have experience liaising with clients' regulators and stakeholders.
  • Use numerical modelling and AI to deliver their clients cutting edge solutions.
  • Have experience using at least 1 modelling package (DEFT or MIKE)

Requirements

You will have skills, knowledge and experience in;

  • Degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or geography
  • Good data analysis skills
  • Good IT literacy skills
  • A high standard of scientific report writing.
