• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC guidelines
• Acting as a key business advisor, providing strategic financial advice to support clients’ business growth
• Reviewing work completed by junior accountants, offering mentorship and technical guidance
• Assisting with audit assignments, working closely with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Keeping up to date with tax legislation and accounting standards to provide clients with the latest financial insights

• ACA or ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with relevant experience
• Experience working in accountancy practice, managing a range of clients
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills, with a proactive approach
• Experience reviewing work, training, and mentoring junior team members
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
