Job Overview
Delighted to partner 'Exclusively' with this leading UK & Irish business who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager for their Distribution and Transport business in Northern Ireland, covering NI and supporting ROI.
The Senior H&S Manager will lead the delivery of the group H&S strategy & programme(s) for the group businesses in Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland.
Working closely with the Business Unit(s) Director(s), Regional Directors, regional management teams and health & safety leads within respective businesses units, the role holder will seek to integrate H&S into operational activities and ensure safety is adequately considered at all levels within the Business Unit(s) to drive sector leading safety performance and a positive safety culture.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma / International Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification (e.g. Level 6 NVQ Diploma In Occupational Health And Safety Practice, Bachelors Degree etc.).
- A member of the Institution of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH) (CMIOSH desirable).
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to change and improve safety culture within a business.
- Experience of partnering with a Senior Management team and driving H&S change and improvement
