Customer Service Administrator

My client is a leading company based in Lisburn. They are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Working hours: Monday- 9.00am – 5.30 pm Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Lunch break 45mins per day

With a pay rate of £12.00 - £12.50 per hour (dependent on experience).

Job Role:

You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for addressing customer enquiries and processing orders efficiently and accurately as well as building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with existing customer bases.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2 years Customer Service and Office Administration experience
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grades A-C (to include Maths and English)
  • IT proficient with the knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while working under pressure

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make and receive calls to/from customers to process orders.
  • Accurately input customer orders and generate relevant paperwork.
  • Greet and assist visitors and customers in reception area.
  • Provide information on products and pricing to customers.
  • Update customer information on the database.
  • Process customer payments.
  • Understand the customers' needs and tailor the service to their needs.
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette when communicating with customers.
  • Upsell products and services when appropriate to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and resolve issues.
  • Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
