Job Role: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Lissue Road Industrial Estate, Lisburn
Temporary ongoing
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-11am
Client open to job share and splitting hours
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Sector: Catering & Hospitality
Your Role:
You will be working in a busy environment at an onsite canteen for factory workers as a kitchen assistant. You will support with food preparation and portering in the wash up area as well as supporting front of house as required.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Washing pots, plates & other catering equipment
- Assisting the in-house kitchen team with basic food prep
- Helping clean the kitchen down at the end of the day
- Cleaning floors, emptying bins & cleaning work surfaces
- Serving & clearing tables
- Taking orders & payments
- Making hot/cold drinks
- Taking in deliveries and checking them off
You will:
- Ideally have experience working within catering
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge
- Be up to date with current food trends
- Be reliable, with a can-do attitude
- Be clean, tidy, and presentable
