Acorn by SYNERGIE are searching for an Maintenance Lead Engineer to join our client, a heavy industrial processing and service centre based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the purpose of the role is to effectively maintain all process and auxiliary equipment across the facility with an aim to improve up time whilst reducing costs.

Duties will include:

* Managing a small tam to support the operations by performing necessary breakdown repairs, leading preventative maintenance activity.

* Facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement and ensure process availability and productivity targets are maintained.

* Reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details for all work activities using the appropriate maintenance management and IT systems.

* The process facility comprises of a variety of strip processing equipment including a multi strand blanker, heavy gauge decoiler and a wide coil slitter.

The successful candidate must come from a sound electrical background with a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade ideally obtained through a recognised craft or modern apprenticeship scheme.

Must be a competent leader with experience in service centre or manufacturing activities, ideally electrical maintenance and fault finding within a heavy engineering / industrial background.
