Brook Street is excited to announce an opportunity for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the dedicated Maternity Reception team at Lagan Valley Hospital.   • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

As a Band 2 Clerical Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Maternity Reception. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet patients attending antenatal appointments and assist them in scheduling their review appointments.
  • Maintain organised filing systems and proficiently operate computerised information systems.
  • Record and distribute incoming mail, handle routine correspondence, and manage outgoing communications.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond promptly and professionally to inquiries.
  • Perform scanning and photocopying duties and type various documents including letters, memos, and reports.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English Language
  • Experience: At least 1 year of administrative or clerical experience in a professional setting.
  • A pay rate of 11.45 per hour.
