Accounts Administrator - Liskeard
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been reengaged by a specialist services business that we have recently assisted with another recruitment project. This time they have tasked us with sourcing an Accounts Administrator to join their finance function in a newly created role. The opportunity comes about through continued growth across the UK and this represents an opportune time to join the business. The role is offered on a full time, permanent contract and will be based at the company headquarters close to Liskeard.
Working closely within a team of seven and supported by a highly experienced Financial Controller, the role will predominantly focus on the efficient operation of the company’s accounts payable and payroll function. Key responsibilities to include:
- Efficient and accurate maintenance of the company’s AP processes - inputting invoices, conducting regular supplier payment runs and reconciling outgoing payments
- Play a key role in the company’s internal payroll operations - collating payroll data, distributing payslips and ensuring compliant RTI
- Generating payroll reports and submission of payroll data to HMRC
- Acting as a first point of contact to both suppliers and employees with purchase ledger/payroll queries
- Regularly assisting the wider finance team on a range of month-end and ad-hoc accounting projects
- Assist in maintaining all digital accounting systems
For this role we seek a motivated and career driven Accounts Administrator with at least 12 months of recently gained experience in a similar capacity. Candidates may be part/fully AAT qualified or suitably qualified through vocational experience. The company is technology focussed, currently using a SAGE Based platform, so applicants should possess good IT aptitude and problem solving skills. This is a highly visible role that works with an energetic team and liaises with colleagues throughout the business so excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
