Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Liskeard

Company Overview: The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 4 large multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and provide continuity of education for our students.

Position Overview: As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across variousgrade levels. You will step in for absent teachers, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students receive the support they need to continue their educational journey seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching in secondaryy education settings is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
