Yard Assistant who has great customer service skills and enjoys working outside is required for a busy Building Supplies Company based in Liskeard, Cornwall, South West England.

LOCATION: Liskeard, Cornwall, South West England
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 42 Hours per Week, with alternate Saturdays 0800 - 1200
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Yard Assistant who has great customer service skills and enjoys working outside.
Working as the Yard Assistant you will primarily be working outside, assisting customers, picking products and loading them onto the lorries and van for deliveries.
As the Yard Assistant you will also be required to unload supplier lorries and move product to their locations in the yard.
As a successful candidate you will be the friendly face of the business, offering customers great service whilst ensuring they are served and loaded, that their requirements are met and that they are well supported.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Yard Assistant include:
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing advice and guidance
- Ensure customers are served quickly and efficiently
- Load and unload customer, supplier, and company vehicles
- Accurately pick orders for delivery
- Receive goods and store safely in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Actively participate in stock control and merchandising
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must enjoy working predominantly outside
- Have great customer service skills
- Have a friendly and helpful approach when dealing with customers
- Flexibility to work every other Saturday
