A background or passion for the construction or civil engineering related sector along with some sales related experience would be desirable but not essential. Candidates with a strong desire and willingness to learn would be considered.
Salary c.£35K depending on experience + bonus
Key responsibilities for the Sales Executive include,
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector
- Manage customer enquiries across all product lines (full product training given)
- Seek new sales opportunities and increase add on sales
- Work closely on construction related projects - following them from enquiry to order
- Have the ability to effectively maximise margin and net profit
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts, and provide regular updates
The ideal Sales Executive will need,
- Solid sales/business development skills ideally within construction, civil engineering or a similar sector
- The ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues essential
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills are a must
- Be highly customer focused
- Have strong administrative skills, be thorough and accurate
- Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to location, free on-site parking
