Academics is thrilled to offer you the chance to play a pivotal role in the progress and development of pupils in KS1 or KS2 at 'Outstanding' and 'Good' schools in Liss. This position begins right after the October half-term and runs until the end of the academic year, with the potential for an extension based on performance.

Position Details:

Competitive pay rates: £135 - £210 per day (based on experience)

Full-time role lasting for the academic year

Primary Teacher Role:

As the successful candidate, you'll be responsible for the academic progress and achievement of a high-performing KS1/KS2 class.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and delivering engaging lessons that align with National Curriculum standards and complement the school's creative curriculum

Understanding and adapting teaching to meet age-related expectations, supporting pupils individually to achieve their full potential

Maintaining and analysing up-to-date records to identify and address gaps in learning, ensuring high levels of attainment

Building strong relationships with students based on trust and mutual respect

Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage teams, and staff to share resources, advice, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Strong references supporting your experience in KS1/KS2 (preferably both)

A detailed CV covering the past 10 years, with explanations for any gaps

The right to work in the UK

Successful candidates will be required to provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Ability to commute to Liss
