Job Summary:

As a Fabricator Welder at Tony Perry, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to create custom structures and products. This role requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, along with a strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The ideal candidate will possess a CSCS card, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding:Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on various metals, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, to fabricate custom components and structures.
  • Fabrication:Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Technical Interpretation:Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine project requirements and specifications.
  • Quality Control:Conduct thorough inspections of completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring proper use of protective equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance:Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment, identifying any maintenance needs and reporting issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Travel:Travel to various job sites as needed to perform welding and fabrication tasks, requiring a valid driver's license and occasional overnight stays.
