We are looking for aSurgical First Assistantto join a high performingtheatre team in a private hospital based close to High Wycombe. The role comes with a generous salary of up to 48,000p/a and many excellent benefits.This is a full-time role working across four days a week.

As theirSurgical First Assistant, you will provide specialist support in a range of surgical settings, assisting consultants to perform life changing procedures for their patients.

As a Surgical First Assistant, you can expect to:
  • In partnership with all relevant healthcare experts, play the circulation role and promote a patient-centred approach to care
  • Work as a Theatre Practitioner performing a variety of surgical
  • Organise, control, prepare, and manage the use of surgical instruments and medications
To apply for this Surgical First Assistant, you will need to be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid HCPC PIN. You will also require:
  • Proven track record of working within an operation theatre with relevant scrub procedures
  • You will need general scrub and circulating skills across a varied range of patient cases
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification, orAdvanced Scrub Practitionerqualification
