Maintenance Engineer

Location: Grantham

Salary: £40,000

Various shift patterns available.

Orion Electrotech are working with a well-established recycling company who are looking for a highly experienced, hardworking and motivated Maintenance Engineer. The focus of this role is the maintenance, both PPM and reactive of heavy plant machinery such as conveyors, compressors, chains etc.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

PPM's and reactive plant maintenance.
• Fault finding on equipment such as electrical panels, PLC, 3 phrase circuits and control systems, motor testing repairs and replacement.
• Mechanically replacing bearings, compressor checks, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Reactive maintenance across the site to ensure optimal performance.

Maintenance Engineer Experience:

Production plant control technology, including PLC and inverter-controlled systems.
Industrial 3-phase experience (installation and repair).
Electrical control systems with the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
NVQ Level 3
Manufacturing and heavy industrial experience
Waste management experience
Experience with heavy industrial machinery such as conveyors, crushers, shredders, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, sensors. motors, pumps etc.
