Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a well paid rewarding career opportunity?

Our client, established for over 40 years, designs and manufactures large scale machinery.  They have become one of the leading experts in their field and their products are exported throughout the world.

Due to continued growth and a busy order book we are seeking to recruit a Electrical Engineer to join their team

The Job :

Working in a shop floor environment the job includes;

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
  • Build and wire electrical control panels to schematic drawings
  • Fit containment and wire machines in house and on site
  • Fault find problems on machines in house and on site
  • Motor drives and inverter knowledge
  • PLC programming and understanding is preferred but not essential

The Person:

To be considered for this role you should have;

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Have a relevant Engineering Qualification / Apprenticeship
  • ‘Hands on’ practical qualities and approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to carry out work with little supervision
  • Be a good team player
  • Be willing to work at client sites for installations and servicing – may involve occasional overseas travel
