General Manager- Active Entertainment Destination - West Sussex
£60,000- £70,000 + benefits
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee the south coast's most diverse active entertainment destination, offering a range of sports, physical activities, gaming, food and beverage, competitions and parties appealing to children and adults alike.
Role Overview
- Customer facing - Available and visible to your customers and team, leading by example.
- People- Inspire, coach and develop your management team to be the best version of themselves every day, scheduling for the extreme peaks and troughs of trading.
- Operations- Ensure the centre ais always immaculate, safe and fully compliant with regulations.
- Service- Ensure guests have an incredible customer experience.
- Product- Ensure the right products and services are delivered at the right times to maximise participation, secondary spend, yield and the bottom line.
- Marketing- Lead the small marketing team to drive admissions, repeat business and secondary spend.
- Financial- taking responsibility for budgets, forecasting and stock control.
- Flexible- Working a mixture of shifts including evenings, weekends and school holidays.
The Person:
- Inspiring personality, highly organised with attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial approach to managing a business.
- Has a passion for people; inspiring, training, supporting, developing and succession planning.
- Experienced in managing a high volume multi-faceted visitor attraction, leisure or hospitality business with extreme peaks and troughs of trading.
- The flexibility in your life to work some evenings, weekends and school holidays as these are their busy trade times.
- Have your own transport due to working some shifts.
- Live within easy reach of the coast of West Sussex.
