We are delighted to represent a prestigious, multinational manufacturing and engineering organisation in their appointment of a Quality Engineer

Joining in a new role due to projects and workload, the Quality Engineer will work as part of a dynamic operations team, supporting all accreditation activities in accordance with ISO standards, and driving process improvements through effective problem solving and corrective actions, overall increasing the quality performance of the sites electromechanical product range.

Key skills

  • Educated to degree level in Engineering or Quality based discipline, or an industry recognised Quality certification, such as IQA.
  • Experienced in a quality assurance engineering role in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a fast paced electromechanical or electronics assembly setting
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO standards ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
  • Experienced in the practical application of a range of root cause problem solving tools such as A3, 5Y, 8D plus APQP and PPAP preparation for NPI.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt and/or auditing qualifications highly beneficial
  • Experience supporting site safety initiatives or IOSH qualification would be useful
  • Ability to work within and lead high performing production teams to reach root cause and actively seek continuous improvement
