Masterclass are seeking an enthusiastic Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a thriving school we are working with in the Littlehampton area. The Centre Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various administrative and logistical aspects, as well as promoting a positive and supportive environment for students, staff, and parents. The role will also involve covering for the head of school, when needed.
The school supports students with SEMH, (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) to ensure they excel within education, achieving their very best.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the overall management of the school's centre, including administrative tasks, facilities management, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Coordinate and supervise centre staff, including administrative personnel, receptionists, and support staff.
Collaborate with academic staff and department heads to support the implementation of educational programs and initiatives.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by implementing health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the school community, promoting teamwork, respect, and mutual support.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in school administration, centre management, or a related field.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve goals and objectives.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of educational policies, regulations, and best practices.
Commitment to the school's mission and values, with a passion for education and student welfare.

Must have:
Ability to work well independently and as a team
Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
A DBS on the Updates Service or willing to obtain one
