We are looking for an experienced field and office sales person who can join our sales team and bring a fresh dynamic approach to our customer experience.

The successful candidate must have worked in a technical environment and be comfortable learning detailed technical product briefs, you will work alongside the Sales Director but will focus on developing the existing accounts and sourcing new business, leaving the director more time to work on large projects and tenders, you must be self-motivated and results oriented and have a desire to win!

Role Overview

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. Your focus will be on identifying sales opportunities within the industry, managing key accounts, and ensuring customers receive the best technical solutions tailored to their needs. You will also act as a bridge between the sales, office, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Key Account Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to secure long-term, high-value contracts.
• Business Development – Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and potential new customers to drive revenue growth.
• Technical Consultation – Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate technical solutions, ensuring the best fit for their needs.
• Industry Research – Monitor market trends and identify areas where the business can offer can offer value to new and existing customers.
• Collaboration – Work closely with the office and production teams to ensure clear communication and smooth order execution.
• Customer Visits & Meetings – Regularly meet with clients, both in-person and virtually, to strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers in a clear and engaging way.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to independently manage accounts and seek out new business.
• Experience in key account management and relationship-building with B2B customers.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including production and office staff, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently.
• Manufacturing industry experience is preferred, 

Car Driver is essential as the customer base is UK wide.
