12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

Highly successful SME client in the manufacturing sector is requiring a contract Finance Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The individual is due to go on leave early May but they’re keen for a smooth and thorough handover so looking at a March - April start.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director & CEO and help them steer the company during the 12 month period. This is a standalone finance position but there is administrative support from other functions and cross-over in others roles (eg payroll processing). This would suit someone experienced and confident in their own technical abilities who is also hands-on and won’t mind some of the more junior / mundane tasks required from a standalone role. Someone from a SME Finance / Accounts Manager background who can work autonomously with a great degree of accuracy and efficiency. A background in manufacturing and Sage 50 would also be advantageous but can be taught.

Job spec available on request and will encompass bookkeeping, management accounts, compliance, year-end accounts, some HR admin and company secretarial duties. Sage 50 finance system.
