Venture Recruitment Partners is working on an exclusive basis with a Littlehampton-based manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Manager on an interim basis. This role offers an element of hybrid working, with approx. 1 day from home. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the month-end process
- Performing the month-end procedures in the accounting software including all Journals, Cash book reconciliations and Daybook Close out.
- Responsibility for the maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Presenting results at routine meetings with budget holders
- Assisting with the annual budgetary and forecast process
- Providing information to budget holders upon request
- Reviewing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations
Key Skills :
- Good Understanding of Operational and Financial issues in a Manufacturing business
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems
