Part Time Finance & Office Manager

12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

24 - 35 hours per week minimum as desired

Highly successful SME client in the manufacturing sector is requiring a contract Finance Manager to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The individual is due to go on leave early May but they’re keen for a smooth and thorough handover so looking at a March - April start. My client will happily consider a reduced hours / part time working pattern with minimum 24 hours pw required. Some parts of the role can be passed to alternative departments to accomodate part time.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director & CEO and help them steer the company during the 12 month period. This is a standalone finance position but there is administrative support from other functions and cross-over in other’s roles (eg payroll processing). This would suit someone experienced and confident in their own technical abilities who is also hands-on and won’t mind some of the more junior / mundane tasks required from a standalone role. Someone from a SME Finance / Accounts Manager background who can work autonomously with a great degree of accuracy and efficiency. A background in manufacturing and Sage 50 would also be advantageous but can be taught.
