Our client, a prominent batch manufacturing company, is currently seeking a skilled Production Planner for a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an innovative manufacturing environment, ensuring that production schedules are aligned to meet customer demands and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed production plans to align with customer orders and inventory levels
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless production workflow
  • Monitoring production schedules and adjusting plans as needed to address any delays or changes in orders
  • Maintaining accurate records of production outputs and inventory levels
  • Conducting regular analysis to predict production demands and identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks in the production process
  • Ensuring that all production activities comply with safety and quality standards
  • Reporting on production performance and providing insights for continuous improvement


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and adjust comprehensive production schedules
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and optimisation
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
