Our client, a reputable and expanding law firm in Rustington, is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and client-focused solicitor to play a key role in providing expert legal services within a friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Wills drafting
  • Probate administration
  • Court of Protection / Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
  • Tax planning and advice
  • Trust set up and administration
  • Limited contentious probate work

Duties will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
  • Providing high-quality, professional advice on Wills, Probate and Estate administration, Inheritance Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Work, Trusts, and some Contentious Probate work.
  • Demonstrating a compassionate and sensitive approach when dealing with elderly or incapacitated clients.
  • Proactively networking and marketing to generate new business and enhance the firm's reputation.
  • Attending clients in their own environment as required.
  • Mentoring and assisting more junior team members.
  • Maintaining good billing records and meeting targets within the team.

Desired skills:

  • A qualified Solicitor experience NQ+.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • STEP qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Business development and networking skills.
