Our client is seeking Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers/Technician with 5+ Years relevant experience to join their Team. This fast-paced environment provides individuals the opportunity to assist in the overall maintenance and repair of rides, games, and support equipment. This position requires attention to detail in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining their amusement equipment.

Candidate requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined with minimum level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems.
  • Ability to complete tasks using a computer or tablet.
  • Experience with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Understanding of industrial maintenance and safety.
  • Ability to read & understand technical drawings, schematics and manuals in English.
  • Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities & maintain confidentiality.
  • Some experience supervising, training or instructing other technical personnel or trades.
  • Knowledge of LEAN / SMART principles for mechanical workshop practices & stores management.
  • Level 3 qualification in engineering or maintenance related field or an equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment.

Role / Renumeration

  • Full time (M-F 8-5 (Winter) / 5 days (inc 1 week-end day) 9-6 (Summer season)

Role Activity

Physical requirements include freely accessing inspection spaces, occasionally working at heights of up to 10 metres. Lifting equipment and other items individually of as well as team/pairs lifting on occasion.

Ability to climb stairs and work at varied elevations including rooftops; able to perform physical work including standing, walking, crawling, pushing, bending, and stooping.

Indoor and outdoor - Able and willing to work in varying weather (rain, wind, cold, sunlight, or heat and humidity).
