About the Role

As a Vehicle Assembler, you will be responsible for the dismantling and reassembly of commercial vehicles, incorporating a range of bespoke modifications and enhancements. This is a unique chance to showcase your mechanical expertise and contribute to the development of cutting-edge defence technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carefully strip and dismantle commercial vehicles according to detailed instructions
  • Assemble bespoke, modified vehicles with precision and attention to detail
  • Utilise a variety of hand and bench tools, including torque wrenches, to ensure accurate and secure assembly
  • Work collaboratively as part of a skilled team or independently using your own initiative
  • Interpret mechanical instructions and technical documentation to guide your work
Requirements
  • Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Repair or Vehicle Systems
  • Extensive experience in a mechanical assembly or vehicle repair role
  • Proficient in the use of workshop tools, such as torque wrenches, socket wrenches, and screwdrivers
  • Ability to work from detailed instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy
