Reed Brighton is working with an established client in the legal sector who are seeking a part-time Office Manager for 3 days a week to oversee the day-to-day running of their West Sussex office.

Key duties:

  • Lead Office Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office.
  • Team Management: Manage administrative staff and support the wider legal team.
  • Financial Oversight: Handle invoicing, budgeting, and liaise with accountants.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and SRA guidelines.
  • Resource Management: Maintain office supplies, IT systems, and facilities.
  • HR Support: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Client Service: Provide excellent client service and oversee office communications.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements within a law firm is an advantage.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
