Reed Brighton is working with an established client in the legal sector who are seeking a part-time Office Manager for 3 days a week to oversee the day-to-day running of their West Sussex office.
Key duties:
- Lead Office Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- Team Management: Manage administrative staff and support the wider legal team.
- Financial Oversight: Handle invoicing, budgeting, and liaise with accountants.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR and SRA guidelines.
- Resource Management: Maintain office supplies, IT systems, and facilities.
- HR Support: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
- Client Service: Provide excellent client service and oversee office communications.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
- Skills: Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements within a law firm is an advantage.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
