Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a contract position. This role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Quality Engineer in developing Critical to Quality (CTQ) checklists and controls for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and established products
- Performing quality inspections and line audits in accordance with the CTQ checklists, recording any deviations
- Communicating inspection results to the Quality Engineer and other relevant personnel
- Assisting with the implementation of corrective actions when required
- Completing other duties as defined
Job Requirements:
- Ability to understand quality standards and process requirements
- Experience in manufacturing processes and product auditing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of ISO9001:2015
- 5S awareness
- Knowledge and understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment as an Inspector or similar role
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with a manufacturer of electronics products and assemblies
Education:
- College graduate or similar qualification
