Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a contract position. This role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the production process.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Quality Engineer in developing Critical to Quality (CTQ) checklists and controls for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and established products
  • Performing quality inspections and line audits in accordance with the CTQ checklists, recording any deviations
  • Communicating inspection results to the Quality Engineer and other relevant personnel
  • Assisting with the implementation of corrective actions when required
  • Completing other duties as defined


Job Requirements:

  • Ability to understand quality standards and process requirements
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and product auditing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of ISO9001:2015
  • 5S awareness
  • Knowledge and understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment as an Inspector or similar role


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with a manufacturer of electronics products and assemblies


Education:

  • College graduate or similar qualification
