Reed Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the Littlehampton area and are looking for a skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain milling machines, lathes, grinders, and power presses.
- Utilize experience in part mould and press tools to produce high-quality components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Identify, design, and assemble special hand and press tools as required.
- Perform milling and cutting operations for low-volume stock parts.
- Repair and adjust production line equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker, with expertise in milling, lathe, grinding, and power press operations.
- Strong background in part mould and press tools.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Ability to design and assemble specialized hand and press tools.
- Skilled in performing milling and cutting operations for low-volume production.
- Experience in repairing and adjusting production line equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
