Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive Primary School environment? We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School rated "Good" by OFSTED located on the outskirts of Worcester.

The role will involve providing One to One support to a child in the Reception class with special educational needs. This is a part-time role, with the school offering either 4 days per week or 5 mornings per week starting as soon as possible.

 

Job Role:

  • Provide One to One support to a child in the Reception class with SEN.
  • Assist in the delivery of the National Curriculum in the Reception year.
  • Help with classroom management, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Support the child in developing social and emotional skills.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to implement a tailored learning plan for the child.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous UK school experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Ability to support One to One and individualised learning.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in the Reception year.
  • Passion for working with children and improving their educational outcomes.
