Your new firmYou will be working within a general accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Liverpool. The firm are relatively newly established in their current guise however have a longstanding client base with whom they have gained an excellent reputation and following a restructure they are now looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team.Your new roleAs Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work with a range of clients made up of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from industries such as services, manufacturing and charities to name but a few. You will work closely with the Partner to review the work of junior team members and prepare statutory accounts for client review. You will also be required to prepare corporation tax returns and potentially personal tax should you already have experience in this area.What you'll need to succeedIn order to undertake this role you must have had prior experience working recently, within an accountancy firm. You ideally will have used CCH, Digita and Sage however systems training can be given. This role will require you to liaise with colleagues and clients on a daily basis and so your communication skills should be excellent as should your ability to prioritise workload and be able to work efficiently to deadlines.What you'll get in returnIn return this firm are able to offer a competitive salary dependent on experience, and comprehensive benefits package. This includes 25 days holiday + bank holidays and the firm give an extra day off for Christmas Eve before closing for the days between Christmas and New Year. You will be enrolled onto the pension scheme and have access to free onsite parking. The firm work a 37.5 hour week and are flexible as to when / where these hours are undertaken. Working from home is something they have embraced although they are set up to have the team working altogether in the office should this be required.
