Assistant Management Accountant | NHS | £16 - £20 per hour (Umbrella) | Northwest

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Northwest based NHS Organisation in order to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant for an initial 3-month contract. They are in need of urgent support during this busy period. This position also offers hybrid working.  

Duties will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and reports
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders to provide insightful finance advice
  • Responsible for the production of accruals and prepayments 
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure robust financial controls are in place and risk is understood
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Responsible for invoices, reconciliations and credit notes
  • Assisting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc reporting

The successful candidate:

  • Experience working within an NHS organisation (wider public Sector will be considered)
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Excellent communication skills and able to relay information to senior stakeholders
