Description
- Supporting the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Maintaining and updating financial records
- Assisting in budget preparation and forecasting
- Processing invoices and reconciling financial discrepancies
- Performing cost and scenario analysis
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborating with the wider finance team to achieve department goals
- Providing financial advice and guidance to managers and colleagues
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
