Audit & Accounts Manager / Partner Designate - Liverpool - £55,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

A leading independent firm of chartered accountants is looking to recruit an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their Liverpool office.  Due to succession planning, there is opportunity for the right ambitious candidate to progress to Partner level in the medium-term.

You will take responsibility for a varied client portfolio, consisting of OMB's and some larger corporates, across a range of industry sectors.   The firm offers a friendly, supportive and relaxed working environment. You will benefit from a good work-life balance, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme and team social events.

Reporting to the Partners, the Audit & Accounts Manager will be responsible for:

·Responsibility for ensuring the timely completion of audit and accounting services provided to a varied client base ·Point of contact for clients, leading client planning and close down meetings, attending client pitches alongside the Partners ·Establishing strong working relationships with clients and provide support, training and mentorship to the audit and accounting team

Essential Requirements:

·Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills ·Excellent organisational skills ·Audit experience at Manager level gained from a general practice environment ·ACA, ACCA Qualified
